Shiela Jane is a Canadian author. She has a degree in political science and diploma in journalism and has worked as a freelance journalist, communications specialist and college instructor. Her articles, poetry and short stories have appeared in a variety of newspapers, magazines and anthologies. Her début novel, THE SALTWATER GHOST, was published in 2013 (no longer in print). In 2017, she was awarded first prize in the National Capital Writing Contest for the short story The Flower Seller of Agra.
