Shiela Jane holds a degree in political science and diploma in journalism and also studied technical and creative writing. She has worked as a freelance journalist, communications specialist and college instructor. Her articles, poetry and short stories have appeared in a variety of newspapers, magazines and anthologies. A début novel, THE SALTWATER GHOST, was published in 2013 and is available on Amazon. In 2017, she was awarded first prize in the National Capital Writing Contest for the short story The Flower Seller of Agra.
